Textured Canvas Paintings

It is quite a process to texture a canvas ahead of time with marked-up paper towels, tissue paper, or other texturing materials.  I often prepare the canvas first with an underpainting, especially if I am not covering the canvas completely with paper.  After the texturing has been applied, I proceed with applying coloured washes and then acrylic paint with dry brush or palette knife until an image or abstract rendering has emerged.

You can see other textured canvas paintings on the Sold/Donated page and in the various Special Projects pages.

Prices as marked.
