Country Heritage Park is the unique setting for this 1-DAY Art Show and Sale.  I will be there with my paintings in Gambrel Barn.

Enjoy the diverse selection of paintings, pottery, jewellery, and more, and to make your visit even more complete, there will be food trucks as well as music and dance to enjoy throughout the day.

Admission and parking are free, but your donations are welcome at the gate.

Come see a little bit of Milton as it is today and how it used to be a century ago!

Report on the Show:

Parade I (Parade Series), acrylic on paper, 19″x 15″ framed

What a fun day!  This is one of the best run shows I have ever been in and I met hundreds of friendly people from near and far.  The Gambrel Barn is well-lit, clean, and manages to stay cool and breezy, even when it is hot outside.  There is a lot of room to view the various artwork, and the variety is enormous and excellent!

I was happy to launch the new Parade Series of paintings, using the donc-le-papier method.  As well, I managed to finish the SIXTEENTH instalment of the Sea and Sky Series, a new painting called XVI. Tumbling Fog.

Out of the Blue (acrylic on canvas, 36X24, $275)

There is a mingling of emotions whenever a painting is sold: excitement, because someone else sees what I do in my painting; happiness, because it will be welcomed into someone’s home; and wistfulness, because I will no longer have it in mine.  In any case I was so very pleased to sell my painting, Out of the Blue, at this lovely little show, the painting I created as a companion to In the Midst.
